Accessory: Toggle Button

This new type of accessory is an active button. From now, your users can interact with the items directly on the Collection page. The data recorded by users pressing the button will be saved in Boolean type. This accessory will be powerful when you want to collect the attitude toward to a product like whether they like it or not. If they do like, they will press the button.

See details on the component settings in this article:

Form page's Option input field available in Chips style

Chips style refers to a user interface design pattern that represents options or choices in the form of small, interactive elements resembling physical chips or tokens. Using chips as the style for the Option component in the form page enhances the user experience by providing a visually appealing, intuitive, and efficient way for users to select options within a form.

Form page's Number input field available in new style Stepper and Scale

With the goal of enhancing the user experience, we also added new styles for the Number input field: Stepper and Scale.

  • Stepper style allows users to easily increase or decrease the value using the provided stepper controls

  • Scale style offers a visually appealing representation of a range of values, allowing users to select a position along the scale that best represents their input

The Web Link component now is in a bigger frame which we believe that can bring many benefits for the overall user experience. Firstly, it improves clickability, allowing users to interact with the link more comfortably. Secondly, it enhances visibility, ensuring that users can get an overview of the link better with bigger thumbnails and more of Title and Subtitle. Additionally, it provides a better mobile experience, especially on touch devices.

More style for Button in Custom page

As you know, currently, there are 3 styles for button: Filled, Tinted and Plained. Now, we add the 4th style: Outlined. The new Outlined style offers a sleek and modern look, perfect for adding a subtle touch to your buttons. It provides a clean outline without a solid fill, allowing it to seamlessly integrate with your app's design.

But that's not all! We've also made improvements to the color generation of disabled and destructive buttons. When a button is disabled, it will now automatically be displayed in a pleasant shade of grey, indicating its inactive state. Similarly, for buttons with destructive actions, such as deleting data, the color will be automatically set to a bold red, drawing attention to the potential consequences of the action.

These color enhancements apply to all button styles, including Filled, Tinted, Plained, and the newly introduced Outlined style. With these automatic color adjustments, you can ensure consistent visual cues and improve the user experience within your app.

New component in Custom page: Table

We've added a new feature to Custom Pages: the inline Table component. Now you can easily create dynamic and interactive tables within your custom pages. Each table row can include a title and subtitle of an item, allowing for organized data presentation. Populate the data manually, automatically retrieve user data, or use special formulas to specify content for each row. The Inline Table component offers endless possibilities for showcasing product listings, user profiles, and more. Enhance your app's usability and deliver a visually appealing experience with the Inline Table component in Custom Pages. Start creating dynamic tables today and take your app to the next level.

Improvements and fix bugs

Enhancing the Custom page's heading

We improved heading design in Custom Pages, optimizing the visual hierarchy and enhancing the overall user experience. With this update, the heading placement and style have been refined based on the navigation context within the app.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Direct Navigation from Main Menu or Tab Bar: When navigating to a Custom Page directly from the main menu or tab bar, the heading will now appear in bold and be positioned on the left side of the page. This placement ensures easy visibility and quick identification of the page's purpose.

  • Navigation from Other Pages: For Custom Pages accessed from other pages, regardless of the presence of a page cover, the heading will be centered on the page. This centered alignment provides a consistent and intuitive layout, allowing users to focus on the content without distractions.

Improvement on tablet apps

In this update, we also made a significant update to our Tablet App Builder, focusing on enhancing the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of tablet apps. Our goal was to improve functionality and fix any existing bugs. Here are the key improvements we've made:

  • Side Sheets for Improved Navigation: We've transformed several full pages, including the profile page, settings page, form page, form page for editing item details, sorting page, and filtering page, into side sheets. Now, when users tap to open these pages on tablet apps, they will appear as sleek side sheets, allowing for better navigation and a more intuitive user experience.

  • Bug Fixes for Side Sheets: We've addressed several bugs related to the side sheets, ensuring smooth interaction. Issues such as the inability to open or close the side sheets, difficulty scrolling within the sheets, and UI design inconsistencies have all been resolved.

  • Tab Bar Enhancements: We've fixed bugs related to the tab bar in tablet apps. This includes resolving issues with the secondary color, text color, and adjusting the bar's size to accommodate components more effectively.

With these improvements, we aim to provide a seamless and visually appealing experience for users of tablet apps. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to enhance the Tablet App Builder and empower you to create stunning tablet applications.
